AnonD-257226, 01 May 2014Why I would buy this old 720p phone while there is way bett... moreBecause this phone has an X8 chipset with dedicated cores, an active screen display, and many features the suped up Nexus 5 doesn't have. Don't get me wrong, the Nexus 5 is a brilliant phone, but the Moto X has more to offer. I have a Droid Maxx which is simply a bigger screen and bigger battery then the Moto X, best phone I have ever owned- it isn't all about specs- it's about operation. Dropping a V8 into a Honda Civic is cool, but ineffective (under normal circumstances).

Running the outdated and mutated S4 pro and horrible camera kills the deal.

Shinigami, 30 Apr 2014Bye-bye, Moto. I already have LG G2, which cost me nearly t... moreactually contrary to your claim moto x sells well due to its almost vanila google style(nexus like) and unique voice co-processor feature which got as first mobile device ever. I would switch moto X for LG-flex only, maybe :p but i got used to setting alarm from my bed without touching phone so much it would be really difficult 4me

325$ for the developer edition 32 GB is a good deal

Bye-bye, Moto. I already have LG G2, which cost me nearly the same as your Moto X would. Except its a completely different level of device (flagship versus mid-budget device).
Even $300 price won't help, as OnePlus One is available at the same price, while offering worlds more.
