Some firms are too fixed with their own ideas. Like Apple and HTC. Samsung exploited this and kept adapting to the customer requirements but now on a downhill. Perhaps now Apple & HTC are learning. Good! its never too late. Biggest mistakes in HTC one M8:
- Camera not 16 MP.
- No OIS. It would've been the biggest game changer.
- Should've pushed the battery to atleast 2850mah.
- Why Power button on top?
What we want in HTC one M8 MINI:
- 13MP is fine but give OIS.
- give Battery upto 2300mah.
- Extreme power saver mode.
- power button on side.
- Ability to catch signals and not breaking in poor network areas.
Its high time for HTC, otherwise people are very soon gonna shift to Apple because the number of people who have the ability to afford high-end phones which offer quality is rising in INDIA.

I have been very interested in the introduction of this handset. The last mini seemed to me too long but I guess you get frontal speakers for that..

Guys, i have just listened to the new htc one m8 ON HEADPHONES, without harman kardon amplifier and i am glad to announce: NOKIA N91 IS BACK !!! afer many years the audiophiles have a reference again FOR HEADPHONES' MANIACS. HTC ONE M8 is TWICE LOUDER AND BETTER than old htc one m7 !!! Do not regret Beats Audio era !!!. New ONE M8 is in fact much louder than my ASUS Xonar U1 sound blaster for p.c. !! It is a true revelation ON HEADPHONES, much much better than old htc one m7, one mini, butterfly, 8X, apple ipad air, apple macbook pro. Htc one M8 sounds much louder, richer and with higher definition for mids and highs, with obvious much better channel separation and clarity than htc one m7. Go for it !!! I ALSO HOPE THAT THE NEW HTC ONE M8 MINI WILL HAVE THE SAME GREAT HEADPHONES AMPLIFIER LIKE IT'S BIG BROTHER. 13 MP CAMERA IS ALSO A GOOD MARKETING MOVE FOR IGNORANTS

If the specs are true, HTC is missing out on a big opportunity to cash in on the mid size devices with high end specs that many people like myself want. There is so much competition in the 5.X" high end phones, and that seems to be where HTC is putting all their efforts. Whereas the 4.X" high end competition consists of only the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. That is a big piece of the pie just waiting to be taken. Many people "deal" with the large size phones because that's the only way to get the best specs, but they would much rather have a more compact phone if the option existed.

What a shame!!! HTC ONE comes with poor 4MP camera and the lower version of the same flagship comes with 13MP main shooter and 5MP front camera???
