This will sell in millions. It is one of the cheapest smartphones and does not try to impress by anything other than price / features ratio. All Moto phones released under Google are worth their selling price. You just need to pick the one that suits you best. Please don't judge it by the looks, it is best for dual sim first time owners on a tight budget.

Moreover Samsung wants its consumer to upgrade their phones. Though bad news for s3 users, logically Samsung is right. They can't invest for 2 year old phone. Innovation will die if they don't find the next big ideas rather than supporting old phones.

Moto E has no problem to run on Kik Kat.
But Sammy S3 has problem to run on Kik Kat.
Both have 1GB RAM.
So what is the logic behind?

So many people BMW(bitching, moaning, whining) about this phone. Come on!!!! Look at the price and try finding a worthy competitor. And the most important thing is GUARANTEED ANDROID 4.5 UPDATE.

Guaranteed 4.5 update for a phone priced at this range. Incredible!!! Even Samsung cannot guarantee 4.5 update for S4.

And again the LED flash is not there when its needed the most. Cheap phones use so poor sensors that its impossible to get ok photos indoors even with good light, cheap phones are the ones which need the LED the most, its the flagships that can cope without it in most cases.

I wonder if you guys realize how ridiculous you sound when you declare "I'm not buying this because there's no flash/Snapdragon 87000/NFC".
For a megabudget phone this is actually quite awesome.

I think the white stripe at the bottom is the "Speaker Grill".
Because there doesn't seem to be any speaker grill at the back of the phone, so it's only logical.
But design wise, it looks horrendous.

I don't understand why ppl bitch about it's low specs. This phone is for emerging markets and competing with other low spec'd smartphones such as Xperia E1, Nokia X, LG Optimus L5II, low cost chinese phones(Huawei,ZTE) and the army of lower end Samsung phones. If these phones don't cover your needs, move on and shell out some more cash and get a better(high end) device. OR hope you can get your hands on a One+ One.

1. no flash (biggest heart ... moreSamsung duos 2 has old and outdated brodcome gpu and a old processor. will never get update and is full of lag due to touchwiz and come full loaded with samsuck apps. also its priced 10k in stores.
best match for moto E would be Lumia 520, regular updates. same processor and better build quality and looks but not so good os.
