Did you hear about the fingerprint reader/lock screen bug? It was all over the tech news when it was first discovered.
Maybe you heard about the random reboot bug....
what about the wifi connectivity bug....
the full screen caller photo missing bug...
auto brightness bug?
inability to make/receive calls bug?
Guess you didn't hear about any of those. How about the itunes store crashing bug
email encryption bug
audio app crashing when you get a call bug
keyboard responsiveness bug (laggy) and bluetooth keyboard bug (connectivity)
battery drain bug (a bug in ios 7, as it was in 6.0, and 5.0)
multiple bugs with iMessage
I think you get the picture. These are a fraction of the bugs that have been fixed to date.
Also Virtruvian, I'd like to introduce you to something called the "Search Engine", go to yahoo.com or google.com and in the dialog box type "ios 7" and "bug fixes".

Apple era already finished , ,samsung stays just few years on the top and emerging Chinese phones will come to the top position soon. Apple is loosing market every year .It has no wow features and price is very expensive. Chinese phones are competing with iphone head to head in quality but price is three times less than iphone. We actually don't feel so different when using them. Nowadays times has changed and people are aware of technology and price. Samsung staying top because of so many variety of phones , , prices and innovations. But Chinese phone mass production , selling to many other phone makers such as Indian, Pakistani , Philipines , African and south american companies, edging out it . We know now all phones making process is not so different and high price is just because of unnecessary expenses such as add, brand name, rent in expensive place , chain of shops etc.

A 64-Bi... moreRead my comment again. It absolutely was a gimmick when it was released because no apps had been re-written to use the 64 bit architecture...including many of the applications from Apple bundled with ios 7.

A 64-Bit chip is hardly classified as a gimmick. Powerful hardware components are very rarely gimmicks.
It wasn't a gimmick when 64-bit was released for the PC & it isn't for the mobile platform either. In fact, don't be surprised to see Android implementing 64-bit architecture this year.
Admittedly, the full potential hasn't been tapped, but more of a way of "future-proofing" iOS devices.

Apple has not come up with anything new on the phone market for the past 4-5 years. Their phone looks the same, feels the same and runs the same. It is not to say that the phones are bad, but there is nothing new that they can bring to the table. Also, they are way to expensive.... However, the public will buy their phone because simply, its easy to sell. Apple- All people pay loads everywhere.
