This is actually incorrect. The price above is excluding the subsidies which is KRW270,000. G3 will be around KRW920,000 ($897)

I haven't seen you around lately Samsung paid troll! Yeah, the 16MP snapper of Samsung is okay but not the best in the Android world for effin' son of a gun's sake! The camera on the Oppo Find 7a was even said by GSMArena to be better than that of the S5. The Sony Xperia Z2's camera is the best around not just because of its 20.7 MP resolution but a lot of reviewers praised its camera and there's even a reviewer who said that Z2 has beaten the 808's pureview camera. Deal with it! Samsung is starting to deteriorate atleast in its performance, next will be in Sales. LG and Sony even Oppo are all starting to rise up against Samsung. HTC should go up too but the three are really serious in giving up a good fight with Samsung.

No 805, no sale just bcos it offers nothing new and in 3-6 months somebody else will bring out a phone with a 805 which was designed for UHD displays.
In fact it's just plane stupid of LG not to wait for the 805.

Not only are these limited, but I don't think there is anything to bring 801 down on it's knees even in QHD for a long time since developers wanna support a broader mass.
If people are stupid enough to just look at 13 vs 16MP it doesn't matter, then they are stupid enough to think everything Samsung does is crapped out by God himself.

Mobile apps have stricter parameters to adhere to unlike PC which is too varied. The SD801 will be more enough for the job. You are just one those 'moar core moar this' type misinformed doom mongers. Especially when just about every game released on android scales well for almost all the devices the developer offers support. SD 801 will give the highest detail there is for any given app no less than the SD805, the frame rates will be maintained for playability. It's called 'optimization' look it up, not so hard to understand. All of this is part of Qualcomm's support to ISVs to make that happen.

And they are factoring in all usage scenarios, not just rendering OS menus and UIs. A SoC is not just the chip alone but the whole HW/SW package that gets support provided to the OEM integrator.

Anonymous, 24 May 2014*sigh* Improving camera is not just about adding more MP.Its the specs that sell, not real world improvement. The older 13mp Samsung with Sony sensor is better than S5 but people are ecstatic about the "upgrade" to 16mp.
Anyway, G3 fail in one of the most important areas and that is GPU power. Samsung and Sony are doing it right, wait for S805/Adreno420 before introducing QHD displays, S801 is inadequate for 3D games at this resolution.
