In practice HTC is non-repairable (iFixit score 1/10).

AnonD-20180, 27 May 2014Too bad with non removeable batteryIt's probably not so hard to open the phone (unlike HTC phones that are non-servicable) and you can buy original replacement batteries (unlike Apple phones where you must buy a dodgy copy as Apple don't sell parts).
