Beas Mixr have less bass, but a lot of vocals and highs, give them a try before trolling around. I do not judge headphones only after bass, i listen vocals, highs, details, sounstage, noise and more. but bass is a very important component of music, even old music or opera have drums. to not be ignorant

i can't wait to see iphones,ipads,macbooks and mac computers with beats audio for speakers and headphones output. beats did excellent job for htc, hp, fiat, chrysler and apple with beats logo will be smashing !!!

satz, 28 May 2014People who wanna listen better Music ..plz go for audio tec... moreListen !! Headphones like home speakears are not all suitable for all genres of music. I listened about 8 month at Audio Tecnica M50. Very clear but they are suitable more for jazz,country,symphonic,opera and they need very powerful headphones amplifier to "open" them properly. For modern music like metal, disco, rock, hip hop, Beats are god, especially Mixr wich are very sensitive and easy to drive even from low current sources like Samsung Galaxy line, Huawei or LG. But not all models of Beats are good. Beats Mixr and Pro are some of the best sounding headphones i ever had, after a long experience with many brands. Also i can mention i liked a lot before Beats: Technics rp-dh 1200, Pioneer hdj 1500 and 2000, Audio Technica M50, Denon hp 1000, Sony mdr-v700. But Beats Pro and Mixr are above all of these. Not much, but Beats are a lot louder, bass is punchier, but very controlled and not muddy, vocal and highs are just perfect to wash the bass. Also very good headphones are Soul SL150 wich are very close sounding like Technics, Pioneer.

maybe beats audio makes great quality in sound business but they're not the only one. i had apple products, fancy but really overpriced. haters gonna hate because that's the only thing they do. and there are so many of them companies you can chose. why fight? take whatever the hell it suits you.

Buying Beats is a big mistake for Apple!
And Beats does not even worth $1 billion.
Apple should acquire Lytro which has unique image technology and incoparate into iPhone instead of geeting this piece of schiit.
