it's not suprising that a 4.5 inch display device is branded mini considering that nowadays manufacturers keep pushing for ever increasing screen sizes...also they say mini maybe because their features are not as high-end as the big guns

wow! the guys at htc done an amazing job
cpu and memory of the previous one mini, lower ppi, larger body size with thick and ugly bezels gaining just 0.2 inches more, and most important pricier than the htc one m7 which is same size but bigger screen, better cpu, more memory... etc...

Great Phone but definately not a mid range segment device !! For God's sake the price is closer to the high end ones. Desire 816 would be the way to go. Although it has a glossy back -_- !

I played with one today, really, really nice handset. All the people who played with it said it felt as quick a the M8. All this talk about spec are not as good as the Z1 compact is rubbish.
Specs is geek talk and most people want to their phone to look nice, a good price, and have some features that will meet their needs.
Next year you will be saying the Z1 compact specs are rubbish.
This is an amazing phone and a beautiful design.
Also it's not just in P4U. CPW are selling it online, EE will sell it tomorrow of Friday, Vodafone have stock but no price plans yet and O2 have stock and price plans.
Go see it for yourself and make up your own mind. I managed to bump into the HTC Rep in Westfield white city.
I was thinking of waiting for iPhone 6 or Galaxy S5 mini. But the wait is over, this is the phone for me.

Moto G has similar specs but costs half the price. Xperia Z1C has similar price but far better specs.
HTC = Hopeless Taiwanese Company.
