Apple's minus are restricted internal storage, non removable battery and i tunes dependency and insane accessory prices. The older devices may become obsolete due to lack of compatibility of upgraded ios forcing the consumer to upgrade to new device itself which is their marketing strategy. My personal opinion is they are focusing only on US Market and not global, Just the opp of Google's strategy.

Apple is now scared of Android rival and now they are trying copy the features of Android OS which they recently introduced. Now, they understood the importance of liberty of the app developers and trying to woo them. The future may be Apple Vs Google.

lol they are giving away fingerprint of users to 3rd party developers,but besides that seems nice update but still ios needs real multitasking when it gets it it should come closer to competition in terms of productivity

And why are you people complaining? It has been supported for 4 years now! Come on, just look at the Galaxy SIII, which is just 2 years old and it have been forgotten by Samsung.

doesn't excite me anyway though. still long way to go for Apple devices as its very much controlled env, i used Iphone 4 for 3+yrs week back moved to HTC one and good i have done tht.

That said just like Symbian smartphones the 4 will continue to work..

Probably because Apple officially took iPhone 4 out of the supported devices as regards maintenance. iOS 9 will be available to 5 and onwards probably. One core processor is too little to work with.

Wow Apple... What it do what it do? iOS is the equivalent of paging through a book i.e. swiping through screens of static square icons. Android on the other hand is like handling a Z-card with nooks and crannies.
The unreliability I experienced on iOS when I was a user was unacceptable considering how light and basic the OS architecture is. What is so difficult about turning a book's pages? The thing would freeze and crash.
Perhaps I should recommend iOS to my folks, the elderly and geriatric community. The power user that I am needs a nimble & comprehensive OS. Android is that OS. Apple released Android 2.2.3 Froyo features last night. It's 2014. I ain't got time for that.

Metal will result in some superb games on iOS, Extensibility and Continuity will be incredible to use. Great thinking to unify the desktop and mobile OS.
