I own a HTC m7 and find it to be a good size. Most if not all android flagships are +5" now. I may switch back to an iPhone since there's no good android phones out this year. I missed having a jailbroken iPhone. Stock ios sucks.

Isn't the size difference simply the stereo speakers on the front of the M8?

AnonD-215124, 17 Jun 2014Sooo... this means the current iPhones are embarrassingly u... moreTo me, perfect size phone was/is HTC ONE X. 4.7" screen with no front speakers and capacitive buttons (also SG3, but I'm a HTC fan). If the screen is smaller, I'm not that comfortable to read mails\internet (and I DO have eagle eyes), if it's larger, I'm not that comfortable to use it with 1 hand. So, talking about HTC (don't know how handy iPhone 6 will be) I DO prefer M7 over M8 and ONE X over both of them. I don't care about stereo speakers, I'm not a fanatic audiophile so, for me (and just for me) are just a gimmick.
So, in theory, 4.7" should be the most comfortable screen to use. But if you add huge bezels or dual front speakers or big round button...thing are not so good anymore

There are 2 iPhones there. If the one in the left is 5s..than my mistake!
But if both are nex gen iPhones, the one in the left is 4.7" and the one in the middle is 5.5"...I was right.
PS: I own a HTC ONE X and HTC EVO 3D..so my comment was a little sad..regarding HTC :))
PPS: God help them if the one in the middle is 4.7" :))))

Despite it has huge bezels, 5.5" Iphone 6 is smaller than 5" HTC M8. There's nothing more to say about M8..beautiful phone, O(zero) size optimization!
