Samsung should consider IP67 certified to suite the present need, camera 16 MP and above,otherwise, I can say is a failure.

Am I the only one that thinks that unless this is water resistant it is not worth upgrading from the 3? I have owned all three of these but this upgrade seems to offer less than previous ones did. I also fail to see the point of QHD on a screen that is so small. I find it hard to believe there will be any discernable difference to the current 1080p. 4K would actually make more sense to me. Of course you won't see the difference on the phone screen but at least you could connect that using HDMI to your 4K TV and get full resolution. Feeding a 4K TV with QHD content seems rather stupid to me.

It would be good though to have at least one OEM put out a product that is truly top notch in all these areas caring less for how it looks in the end.

I am sick of Samsung cheap plastic casing, make squeaky noises. I am planning to buy HTC or Sony, but if this note 4 is water resistant, then I will definitely get this one. dual LED flash and OIS is a must for me :)

12 million pixels might be the sweetspot where you have the best possible quality (NOISE wise!) on a 1/2,3" size sensor, and still nice pixel room for cropping your images .
On a smartphone standard 1/3" size sensor (wich is a smaller sensor) i state that 8 million pixels would be the sweetspot.
Any sheep shouting for more pixels is asking for more noise and so for more fake image processed software pics. Sheep like themselves to be fooled around with. Blind for reality and vision of nature, people and good photographs , they rather only read numbers and dollars.
The lens on a 2014 smartphone (yea z2, s5) cannot resolve more then about 7 million pixels, wild guess, probably even less.
Disappointed? You better be.

The back of the note 3 is great. It looks good, it wears well and doesn't scratch, it feels good, it barely shows finger prints, isn't cold and isn't slippery like other materials.
