drop prices to increase their sales just before launching new devices .... fools will buy this now instead of waiting for latest devices. Apple dropped prices of ipod 16 gb also. Nice idea to increase their sales.

pM, 27 Jun 2014+1 I had an iphone once only for 2 days. I sold it bec... moreI am with you on that ! I had a Iphone 5 64gb, Iphone 5c 32gb and Iphone 5S 64gb at once I sold all!! that was the best thing I did ! once you get used to android you will never want a IOS again ... no computer needed to add music, favorites etc.. I get free 50gb from samsung for a year.. also you can run everything ... faster, multi-windows ... it has a larger display !! fantastic e much better camera ! including at low light places as you can setup ISO and White Balance built in camera no need to buy any app! I have a 128gb card so it has about 160gb on it ... folders, etc... battery last LONG !!! even when using 4g and 3g ! and removable battery .. so you change of power on the fly (small) rather than taking extra a huge battery bigger than the iphone !!!

fgrhuhrg, 27 Jun 2014the 64 bit processor isn't used to its full capacity as it ... moreFoolish comment.

If you want to compare fingerprint scanner tech, you can go all the way back to laptops on all those swiping nitemare. What Apple innovate here, is the seamless wonderful scanning of TouchID.

If you want to compare iPhone 5S is under using its ram or cpu. Just look at how smooth and fast it is compared to other similar high spec phones of that era. Hell, even the iPad drive more pixels then a 1080p phone and still using the same A7 chip, Its still smooth as silk. And don't give the say that Android can run more features so slower crap.. if you close all android apps, and run it with iPad side by side.. iPad still win. A7 is legendary compared to androids.

I had an iphone once only for 2 days. I sold it because I was so bored ... Now I own a Note 3 and every day I discover some new feature. It´s a realy awsome device (the Note 3 , ofcourse). I don´t want an iphone even as a gift.

              Still $29 more than EU.

These phones were designed for obsolescence with a tiny useless display and 1GB DRAM that won't run the next iOS 8 release well. Apple would have to pay me to take it.

You don't even know what you're talking about. Have you ever heard of subsidized price?? They are lowering price to make room for the next apple releases. And yes who cares if ios or android or even wp are better than each other. Each os has their way how things work in a smartphone, most people who buy smartphones buy it, because it suits their needs. I like ios and android (GPE) or just plain stock android. I dislike other UI that OEM's put in their android devices.
