Oxe, how can the F5 has 1 GB of Ram, not received the Kit Kat 4.4.2, since p L7 II (which is well below the L7 I) has only 768 MB (real only 565 MB) of RAM, receive this update? The S3, Samsung, failed to receive update, precisely because the little Ram (840 MB, net) memory. Will be happy to use kitkat on lg l7 2 dual.lg is good in updates now.plz no blame to lg for not update to 4x hd.it is too old phone.and software recycling is over.while samsung did not update its flagship s3.
When xperia m gets 4.3 jelly bean update,i was disspointed.but now lg l7 2 will be far above on xperia m.

No company update their 3 to 4 year old mobile. Whosoever is bashing LG for not updating optimus 4x hd and saying samsung is good look at galaxy note it is still on 4.1.2 and s3 on 4.3 they wont be getting kitkat, atleast LG is giving kitkat to few.

This is good this what must Samsung do update their old phones Higher and Mid range phones not making new ones with old OS System bec. their are lots of Samsung higher and mid range phones that needs to be update to kitkat

I have LG G2 and updated to KitKat,and then tried to return Jelly Bean.What offered is way more stable than updated one.It is faster and crashes less.So,dont be sad if it is not updated.We have 3 LG G2 in my family and they all stay in Jelly Bean.We will not update.If you want to taste real KitKat,just buy new phone or Nexus line.

WOW, LG is actually advancing in terms of software updates and customer support, I mean look at damn Samsung, their S3 won't be getting the Kitkat and the much much weaker L7 II will be getting it, bravo LG.
