Iphone rumours are getting so BORING!!!!!!!!!
Same old design and all we hear, year after year is a bit more screen size here, a bit more screen size there, and it is always behind the competition.
Nothing exciting in terms of technology, no big advancements in camera department or battery, no new and revolutionary sensor (yea, I know last year it came out with fingerprint scanner but that doesn't revolutionise anything and common! Samsung came out with various new sensors, not only a figerprint one.
Not even something revolutionary in terms of design like new regalement for buttons like LG G2 or even water proffing.
Same old, same old and then they wonder why the number of people abandoning iPhones for Androids and Windows phone is growing each year.

You know... having the choice, like on a desktop to actually change the resolution? I'd rather it be the devs who would hardcode it in the games tho.
Oh and certainly don't mind almost 20 years of all hardware being tested against each other in apples to apples comparisons.
When both 5S and S5 are tested at the same res, 1080p offscreen, strangely, they both get the same score. SHOCKING?!? XD
Just drop the resolution on the S5 to the 5S's abysmal level and look as they both play EXACTLY THE SAME.

The original Galaxy S1 already used LTPS for its AMOLED panels. AMOLED panels have been using it first, then came the iPhone 4.

What you actually are saying is that android devices have underpowered hardware, and yeah thats true. Android devices GPU cant handle those resolutions.

Having more wattage/die space/thermal enveloppe for the GPU and less for the CPU certainly wouldn't hurt one bit.

This is like when you want to make a Gamer PC, you can't just put everything that is expensive at all on it and expect that i hold all the work, and this is what Samsung is doing for now, they're just putting huge things in a mobile with no combination between its stuff.

I do not hate apple, actually i own a ipod classic and an ipad mini.
BUT
my phone is a Nexus 4 (a 2 year old phone) which i love. I agree iOS has a few things that are nice, but in the daily basis Android suits me the best.
I tried the iPhone5, cause i was curious but i just couldn't work with it, it bored me and sometimes annoyed me with its restrictions.
So why i have an ipod and an ipad? because so far i havent found a device that can hold 160gb of music, if there was such a device i would switch almost inmidiately cause i really dislike iTunes.
And the ipad, well i mostly use it for surfing the web and maybe some games.
At the end, i do not think that Apple products are bad, i do think they are overpriced. And Android offers much of the same experience at more affordable prices and with a large variety to choose from.

Even my iphone 5 is much much faster than my brother's S4 no hiccups nor lagg. Yes S4 has a few features than iphone 5 but still iphone is much reliable than samsung.

Despite previous opinions from Apple about larger handsets, hats off to them for eating humble pie and changing tactics. This phone will sell incredibly well and looks good imho.
I'll never invest in a monopolising, hypocritical litigator or anyone else that actively attempts to stifle competition & their innovation. No chance. But I have no doubt whatsoever there are enough narrow minded folk out there to make them zquillions more $'s.
Drop tests will be interesting.

While you append words after words behind your phone makers model.
Samsung galaxy S2 .. Note 2 / Note 3 / S / F / Mega / Mini whatever..
iPhone alone rules all.
Why you may ask? Because when you use iPhone, your attention is on the application. MY Application.. ever since the first iPhone to the current iPhone.. everything my memories my messages my photos brought over from the past and forever improving. iPhone is just a means of providing a windows into the apps, my personal phone.
