There is no function, technology, or material in the iPhone that makes it logical, proper, or worth costing the same as an Android flagship.
But apple still process it the same anyway because they can and they get away with it. Because millions of people deny it and accept it. So why wouldn't they basically.
It's worth is basically below many midrange Droids. However because if R n D they would have to charge a little more than that understandably. ..but charging the same price as other devices that have boat loads more expensive frames, technology, originality, legality, and vastly more functions is preposterous.

I was embarrassed for apple when watching their WWDC this year. Their audience would *applaud* them when they were announcing feature that have been in android for 3 years.

Respectful and intelligent fans applaud their brand of choice for its strengths, but also give due respect to rivals when they perform.
Even Droid Life is able to produce articles acknowledging features they admire in iOS:

It is also mentioned in the article, even though some things Apple does is available in third party, the way Apple smoothly integrates things with the system is what makes it good. So just because a feature exists, it may not be equal.

1. Catch up with rival features (to achieve a new baseline)
2. Innovate (to push itself ahead)
It's easy to condemn Apple by just mentioning number 1, but totally ignoring number 2.

How is symbian still around? Samsung is doing great since Apple bus most of there parts from them. Number 2 phone manufacture and parts supplier to the number 1 phone maker. Not a bad spot.

2 Motorola MotoX - Android
2 LG G3 - Android
2 Sony Xperia Z2 - Android
1 Nokia Lumia 1520 - Windows Phone
Then you can see, you have more phones from Apple than any other company, but you have more phones with Android than any other mobile OS.

I really dont get how the stats can fall this. Your saying more people in US have an iphone handset that any other handset, but at the same time, more people are using Android that than using iOS? Has somebody worked how to run android on iPhones?
