10 July, 2014
LG is also working on a device that would run Windows Threshold, which should unify WP and Windows.

You read my mind. Just bought my first WP as a backup. Lumia 635. WOW! supper smooth and easy to use. Lacking in some basic areas but very robust in others.

G3 with Win 8...Crazy good.

:) what a security bridge. Person X should care on disclosing the project that they're working in LinkedIn or other social places. From Program Manager in Windows to Unemployment?

Ask from anyone who have used windows and Android for long time only they know which one is better. Windows is superb if you know what is the purpose of smartphone only then except for apps which Windows lack but yet the apps we have in Windows are pretty good standard specially the Xbox games and Nokia apps

With a few more apps, I think I could learn to love Windows the same. Fingers crossed for 8.1 upgrade.

I am an Android guy, but Windows OS is so smooth, the only thing lacking is a quality App selection, they are getting there slowly but surely, that is what is holding it back.

Bridge the gap? Errr, as long as desktop windows will be dumbified like win 8 to "bridge the gap", the only thing they'll be bridging will be people migrating to another OS on the desktop leaving a minority on the tablet OS crap on the desktop.

Windows Threshold? as long as microsot's still greedy and shoved us with apps that locked down to their marketplace, I doubt the condition will be any different. enterprise don't like it. programmer don't like it.
