I own the Lumia 1520, and believe it to be a stellar device. For me, at 6' tall with man hands. That size isn't for everyone. But the same exact hardware except for the display size and type on a size slimmer than the Lumia 920? Brilliant. The 930 is awesome.
$699 is steep, but that is Expansys' import markup. They're in it for profit. Go through eBay for a deL now, or wait 3 months for the price to come down.
As far as the comments about last year's tech: Get on with that rubbish. The Galaxy S 5 was just recently released with the SoC the Lumia 1520 had when it was released in November. The Snapdragon 801's are merely over clocked. Not like they have better GPUs or faster memory.

I see people posting that this phone have outdated specs and is expensive really. The most outdated specs currently are of,iPhones and they are the most overpriced.

I used a 930 yesterday and I am impressed. It's really cool and fast. I might buy it but I have to wait 4 months for my current S4 contract to finish.

-Features (a little)
-Camera (not exactly)
-hardware sensors (a little)
-Screen (not exactly)
-App count&quallity (count yes, quality not so sure)
-Almost twice the battery life (on paper yes, in real NO)
-still ships with an over a year and a half more advanced OS (not exactly)
-Faster (not at all)
M8 is better in:
-Design, feel (on par)
-Sense destroys WP in looks (not exactly)
-Audio&speakers (not exactly)
-Battery life (slightly better)
-app count&quallity (count yes, quality not so sure)

Vijay, 11 Jul 2014Over pricedI love Nokia but dislike their policy of limited updates in past. Now the updates r frequent and pleaseing. Keep it continue otherwise going to loose lovers even cortana with sexy voice may not be able to stop. High price policy and giving monopoly to carriers is not good marketing for this under establish platform. I have both windows and android and want to c windows wins.

Very funny !!!! Who is gonna pay that much for noKia windows phone , after two years you not gonna get any software updates , they just abandon like Nokia usually does , keep trying nokia , even if someone give it to me for free I hate nokia and windows both of them !
