Performance isn't important in mid range phones, the only important thing is "MARKETING". The quadcore at 1.2 it's the same that have the Moto G, and this one cost a lot less, and his perfortmance in Antutu is about 17K. The same for other phones with the same chiepset.
My Xperia SP with "only" Dual-Core at 1.7ghz and adreno 320 is A LOT BETTER than this phone, but speaking with "marketing" word my phone is outdated, but it's still perform in a non bad 21K in antutu benchmark.
The new "midrangers" are really crap, big screens with low res, poor battery, and so. And finally you paid just illusions and "paper" specs, like what happend with all those "mini" variation of flagships.
