Please be aware that this app features in-game purchases.

            Purchases require bill payer permission.....

I find Ads more annoying that in-app purchase. Some apps dun even have a paid version and i just have to uninstall cos it look like some scam websites.

I believe that freemium apps should be called fleecium apps as that's all that they do, I think it's a horrible tactic that spoils the essence of gaming, if you have more money than sense then fair enough, let your kids run riot, personally i'd be happy to buy a game so long as it's the full game and not some irritating coin buying piece of sh*t that they seem to drop out on us on a daily basis. Real Racing 3 being a prime example, if you want the pagoni zonda, you're expected to pay £69.99 for it as it requires a few million of their coins, worst thing is it's an absolute pain to drive so not only are you a half decent night out in a club out of pocket but you now have an overpowered car which doesn't even sound like a Zonda (even if it is on a mobile game) ridiculous idea and shouldn't be allowed, games are a one off purchase, adverts shouldn't be allowed either.

As always, EU has things totally mixed up. 'In-Apps purchases' is a legitimate business model that essentially depends on 'parents-kids' relation.

It's up to the parents to execute their responsibility towards the kids regarding the essential parent duty: raising up their kids properly.

It's not the question of the business model but question of the EU domination over our homes and way of conducting our life.
I, personally will not allow EU to take over raising up policy over my kids.

Somebody gave a good comparison: imagine a taxi which takes you for free to the location you need, but makes 1-hour stops after each km. But you can decrease the number of the stops or their duration for a fee. You may call this free, but no one in the right money would ride it if you don't want to open your wallet.

That's what Google is trying to prove, that you don't need another device just to get consent or notify you. Just by putting PIN, you're safe and sound from in-app purchases..just don't let your kids know your PWs...

Why not? All it is, is a free game with paid downloadable content. You still get the basic game for free. It's not like you download the game, and you cannot play it at all unless you buy something in the game.

What you guys dont get is, that it is not about parental permission, it is about getting the ones who want to buy to actually understand, what they are doing.
