Hello to all users of LG G3 Cat.6: What I want to ask to you all is that whether LG G3 Cat.6 can play 4K video. If yes, I will be the first person to choose this one. Otherwise, I find the specifications jaw dropping, but again within one year, I might need to migrate to some other model to play 4k Videos. Please guide me

Just bought the LG G3. It is every bit as capable as the many adverts, speculations and early owners have said.

It is always difficult to pull the financial decision trigger on a device when we know better tech is only months away, or rumored to be coming soon. Word of the LG G3 with LTE-A and the 805 SD in Korea is such an example. This unit may never make it over in the the US, but such hopes make our purchase choices acbut more difficult.

Even so, it's unlikely LTE-A services will be available in the US for at least another 5 years. Our providers would rather refer to Morse Code as the new 5G with a surcharge in usage fees.

Sad, but at least my LG G3 will still be using the fastest speeds available for the foreseeable future.

Give it a few more months and itll be a must-have feature on every smartphone. When the Find 5 came out with a 1080p display, EVERYONE said it was too much, and that batter performance would suffer along with processor performance. I have a G3 on T-Mobile here in the USA, and i have to admit the battery barely lasts me a day. Like i said, it can only gst better from here

AnonD-5076, 23 Jul 2014Just curious guys will this lg g3 cat-6 will work out side ... moreIt will be carrier branded to either Korea Telecom (KT), South Korea Telecom (SK), LG U+ or all three.

Carrier branded phones abroad are a nightmare no matter where they are from.

I've preached many times about the drawbacks of Korean phones outside of Korea; korean bloatware, SMS limits, incompatible with international roms, etc... and some features are just crippled to work only in korea and/or with korean products and/or only if they have the original carriers SIM installed. It's totally not worth the impending trouble (not to mention lack of community support).

I remember some chic posted a youtube video about her nightmare experience with a Korean LG G2, she ultimately returned it and paid more to get the international version. I'm also speaking from experience a couple years back. If you're ever in HK you always see a lot of the shops pedaling korean variants at lower-than-international version prices but only uneducated buyers and the misinformed buy them.

In China you can pick up the Korean S5 LTE-A for less than an international S5 now.

                Another Beast

Well, I think that this time we all really have to admit that this version of the amazing LG G3 is really a pure beast/Great!!!? Now the only thing that remains, is just the international availability! Really compliments to LG for the beautiful G3!, and now with this version they deserves even more! And because with all its top of the range high specs, and the fantastic 5".5 QHD DISPLAY, the thinnest bezels, and now with even this faster/better Snapdragon 805 CPU/GPU, and amazingly with the 3GB RAM / 32GB internal storage as the standard, it's impossible to not say that it is really just fantastic! !!!!!!!!!!

I don't think LG are going to win any awards for the HDMI thing, and again not sure there wasn't a Sony-Ericsson handset before it with that feature???

And as for the Nexus 5 thing, well 'compact body' is a subjective issue really so I don't think even LG would try to claim on that one. And besides the Galaxy S4 preceeded the N5 with it's 5 inch display and it just slightly more compact.

Yes I'm 'biased towards Samsung' for some reason I’m sure is only clear in your head, though I use a Nexus 5.

Though the LG LTE2 is not a GSM device and saw only limited availability at best in South Korea, yes it did precede the Note 2.
