Nokia Lumia 530 goes official with dual-SIM version in tow

22 July, 2014
The overall specs feel like a downgrade compared to the old model, the Lumia 520.

Better buy lumia 525 than this, 1gb ram vs 512mb ram, 8gb internal vs 4gb, dual core krait + adreno 350 vs quad core a7 + adreno 302, autofocus camera vs fixed focus camera , slimmer, 720p recording vs 480p recording, slightly bigger screen due to aspect ratio and hardware navigation key. Don't see any reason to upgrade.

Still hoping for a complete mid-range phone from Nokia. I mean, there is always a downgraded aspect in every phone which spoils it. A phone with Snapdragon 400(Quad Core), Adreno 305, front camera, and at least 326 ppi screen, in an affordable price range, would be PERFECT! Hoping for 730 or 830 to beat that.

Re. Don't buy it at launch, wait for 1 month the price will be $85

Why the heck can't they get their product development strategy sorted out. There is no point to this device whatsoever.

I believe Lumia 640/650 is around the corner to replace Lumia 630 in very short time.

How to downgrade an entry level phone and still increase its model number. learn from NOKIA by Microsoft. first it was 630 and now 530. In the world we know the successor is always 1.5 to 2 times more powerful than the predecessor, in order to justify an upgrade from end customers point of view.

It's a downgrade ... It should be named Lumia 520c :) ... Mistake after Mistake .. They must have released the 630 and 530 with 1Gb Ram . What is wrong with Nokia ?... I think M$ tries to destroy Nokia brand ...
