It´s interesting, but i think i can understand why Samsung is releasing this. Please tell me if it´s just my imagination, but i think Sammy is trying to launch the Alpha as a product one level below the GS5, and then, tell the people that´s their product line to compete with the iPhone 6.
So automatically all of us will think that the iPhone 6 is not even in the same level as the GS5.
It would be like this
Alpha=iP6
GS5>Alpha so GS5>iP6
