The edges don't look as good as on a Z2 though, I suppose thats still metal, but it reminds me of the Lumia 920 polycarbonate or something (which isnt a bad thing, but I especially like the aluminium edges of Z2).
I almost went for a Z2, but ended up picking Lumia 930 instead. A Z2/3 Compact might get my interest to a point though... the Z2 (and likely the Z3 are just too big for me)

always fascinated with sony products but this z3 fails to get my interest. no much improvement over z2. huge improvement in software department a must for not loosing the relevance.

the first xperia z released in 2013 february, today month is july 2014, only one and a half years now the planned to released z3 ????? and the build form is almost same, just a few hardware change, sony is too greedy

The sony displays are awesome, but already a tiny bit too colorful for what is 100 % correct - still you want more? Get a messed up galaxy phone. It will make your eyes blead because of it's screaming colors. Either that or install acolorful launcher/theme.

Why would someone want to change phone just because of rounded edges and new proccesor?
How long does it gonna take for Sony to realize real disadventages od their flagship Z2 model? I quess, they are still tapping in the dark!
Their flagship Z2 model lacks:
- optical image stabilization (OIS),
- dual led flash,
- better call quality,
- better signal reception,
- smaller and lighter case with same display size 5.2",
- better display and vivid colours,
- etc.
This is not hard to accomplish? Right?
They are pushing and refreshing flagship (Z model) every 6 months, adding some high end hardware but core disadvantages are still there and they obviously don't have enough time to bother with all of them, so I believe releasing new updated model every 1 year is more appropriate.
Go Sony! You can do better!

Well, I've got no problem using either WP8 or Android, with my preferred brands being Nokia and Sony. Let's see what the true specs will be for the next release of flagship phones. For me it's between the 1525 and the Z3. I'll take which ever one has the best overall specs.

Yeah really annoying for users of their devices, because development for these phones disappears to quickly. My first android phone HTC Desire has more ongoing development going on than the Sony phones, because all the top devs just move to the newer phone, this also goes for Sony releasing updates for phones the first Xperia Z has to wait forever to get 4.4. And it always worried me that they will say, well sir your phone is now three models behind, but those models are still on the market for sale!!! I believe they should only update when they have decent hardware changes eg new processors, not create three new flagship models that are almost identical, this is the sort of practice usually happens for cheaper non flagship devices. My Z1 chipset is capable to handling 4k video and Sony so far refuse to develop it.

This time Sony has lost it!!there is no need of releasing 3phones in a 12 months span with the same specifications.Z1,Z2,Z3 what is the point?so far your best flagship is still the Z,now you are lost in the competition
