That's really expensive, if I buy it directly from China the price is only around 250€.
Seems like Europeans really ripped off here you might be even better off importing
it yourself and pay import tax. Ridiculous.
Nevertheless xiaomi phones are really a good deal

Just make sure you make Cyanogenmod available to this phone.
MIUI is not for everyones tastes, tries too much to be an iPhone rip-off, which ends up compromising your product for those who really like the true Android experience!

What you want to say is taxes in general and in this case the VAT (value added tax). There are also sales taxes in US and other countries which vary from state to state. The price announced in Europe always includes VAT whereas in US it does not include the sales tax so the actual price people pay could be higher. But I am an European so I am not an expert on how it works in US or China for that matter.

this is stupid almost 400 euro i thought was cheap i mean its almost price of galaxy s5 in canada useless cheap products and samsung even worst im bought galaxy s5 ill tell you i had problems from day one im so dispointed ill never ever ever in my life buy anything from samsung its completly scam selling garbage for 700$ or more so sad galaxy s5 is horrible and i have it at the moment

This smartphone can record 4K video and has no slot for micro SD? And only has 16GB of internal storage which makes it less operating system, get a 11GB .... 4k video recording consumes more than 300MB per minute! It must be a cruel joke of Xiaomi. All specifications are perfect but this. No wonder the price is so low

The price is up $79 on the Mi 3 this also was the price in China
Xiaomi the offered the Mi 3 for $250 in India a modest $9 increase
€395.00 coverst to £312.73 at todays rate
you complain about the prices but the supplier tou list on Ebay are both situated in Hong Kong so the mark up is the supplier not Xiaomi
I presume it cost money to export these items from China to italy
