Hmmmm. Windows Phone will fail no matter what. Better jump from sinking ship early on.
But I don't mind HTC One M8 with Windows Phone. Having choice is good for consumer.

this car implementing was just an example.
perhaps if you'd take the time to read the entire post and consider an objective point of view, you would consider that most important is for us, end-users, to encourage more than one OS to develop.
popularity is one thing, but considering that these days more and more people are closing themselves in little boxes and stop considering alternatives and rather call for preconceptions such as "WP has no APPS!" should alarm people who still have their own opinion, not only what they are served :)

I think it's good, even with the lead Droid has over WP from a market share perspective, WP has to make a stand somewhere and grow into the market.

Cost matters..Htc sells mobile for price similar to iphone.Iphone is king of smartphones
because of its built quality and Brand value.
You have to respect that.
I wanted to buy M8,i saw its photos not good but okay for facebook but price...omg.

it's funny how obvious biased opinions are shared here from users who didn't keep up with the evolution of the Windows Phone platform. since the first example on to how WP is worse than other mobile OS is the lower number of APPs available, i have to ask: how many of the vast options of APPs in google playstore could an Android user try in his particular Android life?^^ so yeah, be glad Android and iOS have xxx.xxx.xxx APPs while any user will not even try 10% of them.
for anybody who is curious to see how the WP platform evolved, i would advise trying such a device at least in a store to see how the live tiles concept works and you can also try finding available APPs on the windows phone dot com store to see if vital software is present on WP :>
PS: android on 80% of the phones out today, android soon in many cars, doesn't that sound to anybody like monopoly? having more options, and users encouraging all of them to evolve, would only be in our advantage :)
