Sometimes one year is not a long period between two realy revolutionary and important innovations. You use 'evolution' to survive between realy important technological innovations. Iphone 6 is an evolution of some revolutional innovations in the past and that is OK for me :-)

If any of you looked at recycling phones you get more for an almost 1 year old iphone 5s then you get for a brand new samsung s5.
Samsung couldn't lace apple boots.
If your talking about how good the camera is, it's really more to do with the lens on the camera in which apple uses NIKON.

The IPhone 6 should not be taller than 130 not wider than 65 . Otherwise only the software IOS will remain atractive .

I am again going to renew my contract with iPhone 6.
My phone after iphone was launched
1. Samsung Omnia II -> good primary phone-1yr
2. E72 -> needed more battery life due to travel-1yr
3. iphone 4 - 2yr (free on contract)
4. Tab 7.7 - used 1 yr as primary phone along with ip4-> excellent tab but some apps initialy did not support and used to crash.
5. iphone 5 - 18 months and due for recontract.
6. got a S3 as tab7.7 screen broke - hardly used for 1yr as the battery sucks 6hr without use after andriod 4.3. warranty over so dumped in closet.
7. tab s8.4 - good replacement for my tab7.7. Never seen such a slim tab with this gorgeous screen, never seen better screen then this. but what a crap whatsapp cannot be installed. hopefully it would be supported in few months. using it for my primary entertainment device and secondary phone.
I had always had samsung + iphone product, but for mission critical job I would always use iphone as my primary and samsung as secondary.
Next upgrade will be iphone 6 and along with Tab s8.4 would serve me for next 2 yrs
This is my devices.
Apart from this other device in family are ipad 2 - still working strong. LG optimus and E72 still working great for my daughter.

There's no innovation wha... morePeople (read iphone fanboys) are anticipating this because Apple is going to provide them what they wanted - i.e. an iphone with display bigger than 4 inches. All android flagships are already having a hard time convincing buyers that it is worth upgrading to their latest flagships.
Apple does not have such a problem however, at least for this year. You/me may not like it, but iphone 6 is going to sell in millions every month for the rest of this year while android flagships will have a hard time (except note 4, samsung's/dare I say android's best) from now on.

Increasing aperture size sensor and flash. Which is important for life-like pictures.
If zoom is to be considered for the increase of MP, i will not go for digital zoom, as the resolution will reduce (like cropping sucked). You will rather go for optical zoom.
Or buy lens attachment for iphones. There are lots of lens attachment for iPhones.
Hope iPhone 6 have support for lens from third parties.

If apple dont want to put higher pixel in camera as they want to sell more phone 3.2 pixel, 5pixel, 8pixel,. Slowly releasing ..while other try megapixel war.
More megapixel mean we can zoom clearly in detail.

Why are people anticipating this? There's no innovation whatsoever. Design is worse than Samsung. Ios is turning into an android like os. What's so special now about Apple? The price tags?

What normally happens is see phone, get phone on contract (and by that I don't mean I will pick up the tab) happy for the 2 years. Upgrade is just repeating the above with a higher spec phone.
There are a few people who want the very latest and upgrade much more frequently to get the whatever new features are added, which to me makes little sense and you notice more what the 2 years brings, than fall in love with a phone until the next flagship comes along
Apple & Samsung are almost opposites you say disappointment, S4 to S5 but a whole year has passed
That bought an Plus 3Mp in the camera to 16Mp, water & dust proofing.
Contrast that with the albeit rumoured, Apple have NOT surprised even Gsmarena with any iPhone having specs ABOVE rumours
I expect that the 5.5" iPhone will be 1.7GHz (the 4.7" 1.5GHz) Dual Core have Sapphire coating as standard (only the Highest memory 4.7" will have Sapphire)
This means the standard iPhone will again be 8Mp.
Since 2011 the iPhone4S 8Mp; 2012, iPhone5 8Mp; 2013 iPhone5 8Mp; 2014 iPhone6 8Mp.
Add that to reports that Apple want USA networks to increase the contract price by $100 well you can see from the base price if the 4.7" & 5.5" $850 and $1012 with increase size faster processor comes increased (consumer) cost
I admit I am not really an iPhone fan but whilst these images I find bland, I really like the Huawei Honor 6, and am really blown away as in I love the Infocus M810, both look more Apple than Apple
The Infocus M810 was reported here and despite the really low cost with a 13Mp camera shows you what the specs could be if the specs were upgraded, rather than tweaks
Another 8Mp phone is not innovative, and both the Honor 6 and M810, imo are aesthetically superior in looks than what will emerge from Apple

To be frank 5.5"display iPhone 6 is too small to be phablet such as HTC One Max, Xperia Z Ultra or T2 Ultra or even the affordable Zenfone 6.
