I hope they will not drop the fingerprint scanner as it is such a convenient security feature and the other 2 top brands will definitely have it on their flagship devices.
It's a feature that put the current HTC One Max ahead of the competition. Much as I admire the HTC brand, I will upgrade to Samsung's Note 4 if the new Max does not have a fingerprint scanner.

People need to buy more HTC phones. After i used a One M8 for a few minutes and heard the speakers i couldn't go back to another phone ever again. The sound coming from that phone is just that amazing. A phablet with those speakers will certainly be something...

Dave , 12 Aug 2014Note 4 will kill this. It will have such a bad camera and 8... moreNote 4 would not kill this. but yes can't compete with the Note 4 yet cuz it note series have a lot of fans or user base but of course it will give Note 4 buys a second thought should they get Note 4 or M8 Maxx(Prime). in my opinion if they come up with good Camera then it will complete good. though I would not expect it sell half or half of half but at least will take some sales from Note 4 away.

It runs so smooth and fast even with many application open at once. no hiccups.

The author forgot something which HTC does not have: a pen. This is the tool which, combined with the large screen, made the Note series a best-seller.

oh please..I am using Note series phones from the day one, your Htc does not even come close to the performance it offers.
and if you talk abt build quality there are innumerable companies providing state of the art cases hook them up then note 3 is also premium look.
not to mention how much ever premium the phone be everybody uses case, nobody uses there phones Naked.
Please don't you dare even compare Samsung S and Note series cameras to bullshit ultrapixals, They say more quality but i see none.and they are only 10% better then note cameras that to in Low light.PS abt Battery back up, I never switch off my 3g and wifi i use all sensors and full brightness i get close to 16hrs where same for htc does not even lasts 6hrs.

If all the ppl feels like you do, tell me why HTC is under loss and Samsung is competing closely with Apple through out the world.
