So, if its not Qualcom Snapdragon then it will not support GLONASS which means poor navigation.

Actually Xiaomi is doing VERY WELL in Asia. The reason: cheap and reasonably good. Target those users who don't need top notch spec.

This is a poor hardware device!
Instead Xiaomi should release a better spec device at least on par with Sony Xperia Z Ultra or HTC One Max but with half of the selling price.

Anybody like me who has upgraded take note
In 2016 when I upgrade again, I expect to have a seriously fantastic phone....and I expect to be paying significantly less than I am paying now, at least 20%
Xiaomi cannot operate in a vacuum and Huawei, Oppo etc will follow, high spec phones for near to cost as possible
Almost forgot my phone is an Android, so I can make BOLD predictions like that
Had I an iPhone, the idea that the iPhone price therefore its intrinsic value is diminishing would fill me with dread.
Android, Windows, BB, go one way, Apple prices defy logic and gravity and go another.
So ATM as I am in contract there is nothing I can do, 1.5 years from now I dare say I can order a Xiaomi over the internet.
