The suppliers are laughing at Apple's demands and when released on Sep 9, it will be compromised version.

No display technology can be accurate without a software calibration.
And LCD is still saturated in most cases. Plus with fake blacks and whites, washy contrast, more reflecting, more power and space consuming, generally uneven with more bright spots, more leakage, and so forth.

Dunno what are u complaining abt.. There is no concrete evidences of the new iphone design yet (only rumours) and u here raging abt the its design? How stupid.. Samsung has been using the same rectangular design ever since FIRST GALAXY model and u r complaining it? Haha now i know why there was once a survey said iphone users are more well educated, cause they think with their brains before speaking

Hahahaha! So for keeping the design slim and also have a decent battery they wanted the display not to be bright enough? Haha. Now they have problems. Where are you Alpha haters? This is one of the reasons I love AMOLED, read LED=light emitting diode! You do not need ”backlight”!

To buy an Iphone I would require Apple to change tree things. First, change IOS to Android, second, AMOLED display, third, at least 5inch display.

UK, 22 Aug 2014I don't understand why Apple are releasing 2 separate model... moreThey can't release them at the same date as the 5.5" will be considered a flop due to it being 5.5"
5" is my upper limit, however there are 6" phablets floating around, so when you consider the first tab was 7" when will it stop
In order to make the 5.5" more appealing it will be a higher spec phone than the 4.7"
Apple are panicking by bringing forward the date they announce by 10 days to 09/09/2014 to be whilst the BEAUTIFUL PHONES WITH THEIR PREMIUM SPECIFICATIONS ARE ANNOUNCED at the IFA.
I expect to be totally underwhelmed by the Apple event but ifans will see this as the second coming.
by that I means the bigger improved iPhone5S (codenamed iPhone5th)due to so little changing in a year
This will be a self inflicted wound by Apple as instead of allowing the increased size adding weight also, they want to brag about some meaningless statistic so saving say 10g
NB IF TRUE THE 4.7" IPHONE IS ONLY 1G HEAVIER THAN THE 4" IPHONE5S
These are the things that shout have nothing.
When you compare the Galaxy Alpha to the iPhone5S you will see a difference in specs
Apple upgrades are modest it is unlikely given the history and what we know, the 4.7" iPhone won't come close esp 12Mp camera.
It will cost more as the more you pay makes it PREMIUM PRICED when the hope was for a PREMIUM PRODUCT
oh well this decade is far from over
