Dare remove Nokia's name from the branding and soon you won't find buyers Microsoft. WP8.1 will be dug into a grave, just like WP6 was... 5 years back in 2009. Remember ??

either people are dumb or they are lazy to look closer, or they just want to cry 'Microsoft suck' for its hippy cool.
NOKIA with the usual font is still used at the front, top right corner. Look closer!

It's quite happy to learn that Nokia's Logo is still there on the upcoming lumia. Will surely wait for it.

I was kinda banking on this phone to hold the middle ground between the very expensive 930 (that still has some very obvious unforgiveable flaws) and the super cheap (and totally worthless 530), however, if they're gonna stick the same (or virtually same) low end Snapdragon 400 (helloo cortex a7..., even a 3-year old a9 is faster) in there it'll be just an expensive worthless phone. At the very least it should hold a Snapdragon 600.

I feel Microsoft would be unwise to remove Nokia branding from their devices.

The name Nokia is well-known by consumers. It would be a mistake to remove that association.

Well.. Once the Nokia brand is gone, it's only going to go downhill for the Microsoft phones.. What has Microsoft been successful these days? Probably they are successful in destroying businesses..

I love the logo actually! While I hate to see Nokia get phased out it was going to happen. They were toast before Elop for many reasons.

AnonD-86090, 23 Aug 2014There goes the beginning of the end of Nokia.Well, Nokia is actually down and out, since long already.
Rather this Microsoft Lumia signaling the end of Microsoft's dabbling in mobile OS market.

Microsoft already lost with Winmobile to Android and IOS (and before that to Blackberry). The name change to Winphone and the idiotic Modern UI. Was just a desperate acting of a company with to much money and no clues.
                                      Bye bye Microsoft
