Don't understand the hate, just because a phone uses metal doesn't make it better *cough* you only pay for the materials for the iPhone with crap specs *cough* if a phone is going to use any other materials beside plastic aleast try to make it look good. The iphone is a joke when you compare it to the Z2 hell even the Z

Metal frame is ok, but full metal body is more slippery in hot weather or uncomfortable to hold in freezing winter. It makes phone much heavier and gets scratched faster. Hardware is less resistant to static charges and reception is weaker.

as a company samsung put this mid range metal banded phone out to see if it pre-sales that will tell them if its worth putting the money into the other lines they have, what people call a premium phone is stupid apple is not it have a metallic body sub par specs, htc to much metal slippy in hand z2 glass and metal all of these phone have one major thing in common that is they will all have a plastic or rubber case or bumper on them making them bigger and pointless touch id and other things, the alpha has a nice curve on the top and bottom of the sides so that it wont slid out of your hand easily if laying down or holding up, its 720 sceen maynot be a 1080p but the new super amoled is better for power and color rendition, the battery is a horrible size but they thought that since its a 20nm chip saving 35% battery comsumption it would not hurt it mixed with the screen size.
it truth this phone is a smart market phone not all people want a 5 or bigger inch phone nor need to update facebook and instagram every 5 min to feel like there life is worth living they want to get online and text and phone and youtube videos, thats what this phone is pointing at. if you cant see that you should remove yourself from the tech industry
