I am sure Lumia 1020 qualifies too. But the battery won't even last half a day !!! This Non removable battery with poor capacity will take Nokia/Microsoft down the drain !!! They might see it as a selling strategy.But I don't.. What do you guys say?

The other models with the 2200 MaH battery don't even last a day !!! Way to go 1520. I never expected 1520 to get some serious updates. Mi Amore 1520 !!!

The optional battery grip is not in production any more. I am not sure about the 1020 though. Having seen the whole press conference, They emphasised only on 830,930,Icon and 1520. I would go with 1520. The new update has 4k enabled and the Camera Rich Dynamic flash steals the show. What a gorgeous way to bring up the Imaging to the next level.

Who would still do 8.1 SW testing for an unlocked version of 1020 even after a year? Spooky !!! This is their gimmicks. Bottomline is the 1020 will die just like its predecessor Nokia Pureview 808.

Nobody is talking about the phone. I bought the pentaband L1020 2 weeks back from Microsoft store expecting the WIN 8.1 update. Microsoft and my carrier kicked me back and forth pointing fingers about who will give the update. Finally had a chance to speak to Nokia customer care. Those guys had only this to say. "Sir, It is under testing" We don't know when it will be launched...I was like, C'mmon seriously?? In canada the 8.1 has rolled onto Rogers and telus and hence forth. But not for an unlocked phone from windows store. This is so fishy. I returned it last week back to the store. Microsoft guys asked me to go with developers 8.1. I said NO thanks... If you read unofficial reports, they say that the Nokia Lumia 1020 has reached its end of life. I pity on the design. WHat a gorgeous phone. Battery sucks like anything !!!

The 1020 was a good phone a year ago, and is a superb camera even today, but it is not future-proof.
Rather buy the 930 or wait for the successor of the 1020.

The photos are fantastic at night and day but i sometimes miss the shot cause the poor speed

My 1520 was on official stock firmware so it got the cyan update on time.
But my developer 520 is stuck with black. Don't want to lose all the data :/

Though the 4K video will not be available on most of them since their CPUs & GPUs won't be able to support them.
The rest of the app is fairly universal.

I just want to attach a file other than image in a pre-written mail. Microsoft, when are you doing that? Call recording? True Caller like in android? there are a very few, but important things which i miss in my Lumia 925. Other than that this buttery smooth device is just awesome. Stop updating camera with denim update n all, that is already way better than others. Focus on the issues i just mentioned and which have been posted by millions others on different forums.

What??? The new camera app is not available for the most respected camera phone Lumia 1020?????? Seriously I was going to buy Lumia 1020 but was afraid of its shoot time... L1020 needs the new camera app...
