POOR SERVICE & SPARES COSTLY : i have just buy a mobile ALCATEL ONE TOUCH HERO before 8-9 month, unfortunately mobile display is broken and display cost is Rs. 11000/- and mobile price is just 16500/-, company is reduce mobile cost almost 60% but the spares price is fixed.
i am requesting you all to pls. don`t buy ALCATEL BRAND due to poor service and costly spares.
this type of company are reducing the mobile cost due to competition and but customer is cheated in spares

I have the regular alcatel one touch and am very dissapointed. Im not even done paying for the phone and have had it replaced twice and im still haing issues. This is the firs alcatel phone ive had and i think it will be my last.

all IDOL and HERO Series are far far far far better then any of the samsung or any international brands..
ALCATEL Onetouch is just beyond any brand..

i myself have bought idol x+ several days ago and i should say its far better than you imagine
the best quality sound with hi fi engine and jbl handsfree
1080 display is really good and the device is fashionable
i suggest you all to buy alcatel

This Alcatel always shows-off products but never delivers in the market. The Hero 1 which I wanted to buy never comes out in the market. Alcatel's Hero series is a joke!

The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 2, like we said, has a 6-inch IPS display with Dragontail glass, which squeezes out a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 360ppi.

Boring specs... Outdated! Alcatel should make smartphones in par with Samsung galaxy s5, Lg G3, Sony Xperia Z2... Also they haven't release any kitkat update to their latest phones

It's a massive improvement from the previous model. With new chip,4G connectivity n ois camera, it sound impressive. Should be really good for gamer too.

-_- S3 has one of the worst screens ever on as phone, i think that is no secret, if it is then its not very well kept. As he said, it is blueish, it cannot reproduce any kind of white and the problem increases to serious levels when viewed from a slight angle. I found it impossible to read webpages with white background on S3, the slightest movement of the phone would cause the white to flash in varying levels of blue. The problem persists even in Note 3 but at least it looks 100x better when viewed exactly from the front. Note 2 was somewhere inbetween there, not too bad but enough to be occasionally annoying. The strongest blue tint was found on the original Galaxy S, another terrible display that couldnt even render dark blue colors, they all turned to black. So i have to agree, the old type "TFT" display of for example Xperia Arc was better (TFT is the wrong term, also AMOLED uses TFT, the correct term for those displays is TN which is a panel type while TFT is a backend control grid)
I had two Nokia phones with AMOLED also and they were surprisingly much better but had a greenish tint when viewed from an angle. Strange, since it was said that the Pentile AMOLED display of Nokia N9 was made by Samsung, then why didnt Samsung use those good displays on their own phones?
