The iphone 6 was on sale on Apple India's official site yesterday.
Prices for the iPhone 6 16GB, 64GB and 128GB are Rs 54,999, Rs 59,999 and Rs 64,999 respectively, while the iPhone 6 Plus will cost Rs 59,999, Rs 64,999 and Rs 70,999 respectively.
As soon as i tried to add into my cart, it showed the page is not available anymore. This is ridiculous.
Now what? Is apple going to revise the price? Or the date? as it was mentioned that the delivery will be available from 1st Nov to 13 Nov

i am not apple fan neither a samsung fan but i have one thing to say that i have tested many phone including blackberry to samsung, apple, htc, but the samsung is worst of the lot same old design all of them looks the same even bloody 50k (inr) bucks s5 and galaxy core all look the same. plus a the samsung chrome on some of the devices is of worst quality. if torn off in just 6 months or less. plus way too big and heavy to handle . i also used lg g2 & g3 which is quite impressive but lg g3 is getting cracked near the microphone.as per my personal opinion the best build quality is still with apple devices. ipad air build quality is great , ipad mini build quality is good iphone 5s etc. lets see what apple has to offer with iphone 6 & 6 plus. one more thing apple products really last long quality doesnt come cheap.

I honestly dont understand what all this fuss is about. $900 for a phone whose only notable improvement over the previous model is a larger screen!!! Here in India, it amounts to INR.54,500. i have a Lumia 720 i bought 6 months ago for INR.14,200 and i dont see a single thing lacking from the iphone IMO. i dont game much, maybe an occasssional match-3. i have all the apps i need, the carl ziess camera is comparable, the phone has never once lagged, lasts a whole day with moderate usage (even glance, data nd GPS always ON), etc etc.
talking about the app gap, its not at all relevant in india, as most apps on the iOS store are designed to cater to a US based audience, (android has more indian apps, i admit, nd there is not much u would miss out on WP too).
Bottom line is, its not the market share or benchmarks that actually matter, its your taste and need that actually determine what phone you need to get. dont blindly buy something cause everybody else is doin it.
EDIT: INR.54500 is not the official price in india. i just did a conversion from $900.
