Xiao Mi will do have any effect outside of China. The name is not even appealing. It won't work.

I agree as Xiaomi in branching out to India are supplying the number 1& 2 countries when it comes to mobile phones.

I would not classify this as selling as there is no reasonable expectation of owning it.

Especially when a phone is your dream phone not to get it time after time.
Are there even 100,000 Mi 3 in all of India?

Plus QHD doesn't really helps your phone more but eats your battery, android apps are not yet compatible and movies till now are fullhd. It's pure gimmick to me that's why I'm not planning to change my note 3 for just investing something minor and doesn't really helps. Think first before buying something that will help you or not.

Not really my bag though, I don't see the added value of a curved side / screen (yet). But it is not half as useless as the QHD screen, draining the battery like a madman.

If we are really looking for the specs for the best price this is number for now than Samsung HTC sony etc. Apple is a different os so different market consumers mate.

Xiaomi should get its thought processes right. They discontinued the highly successful Mi3 in India. Hopefully, there will be better supplies for Mi-4. In a country as big as India, flash sales with only 20,000 units lead to frustration and negative publicity.

Watching from in China I don't see the Mi4 enjoying the same hype the Mi3 got when it launched last year.

I think they dropped the ball with the Mi4, it's just too small of an improvement over the Mi3. People look at this and the price, then they look at the Mi3 and the price and ultimately choose the Mi3.

india's airtel uses TD-LTE (band 40) so it will work with Mi4 of Chine Mobile.

No wonder all these Asian manufacturers like Xiami, Meizu etc. sell out their freshly announced product within minutes: look at that pricetag! It's again a confirmation that the rest of the world pays way too much for big brands.
