Going to a smaller production process on its own does not necessarily result in large performance/efficiency gains (the need to dissipate the power from a smaller area can exacerbate any existing thermal problems).

Second...what good is that chip of yours if you got the same OS...
Or put it another way...will your 8mpx cam, or speaker,or screen, or connectivity, or lack of features work better with it?
No...
A good chip it is, but in iphone 6 as a whole...it is just a gimmick...

Does any of you know the importance of 20nm architecture that the iphone 6 is using on the A8 chip compared to the 2year old 28nm architecture that xperia z3 is using with the sd 801? Please but when you arr talking about iphone old specs keep in mind that sd 801 is 2y old not A8 which is actually cutting edge tech. No need to mention that the A8 is 64bit chip whereas the sd801 is 32bit. Last but not least,i dont want to hear that theres no point in 64bit cause the ram is just 1gb because 64bit means much more than just access to 4gb++ of ram.

Not bad for Britain i guess. Now, 350 GBP isnt a terrible low price, its a few pounds above what the Z1 Compact sold for at launch in Asia in the cheapest non-greymarket stores.

Who is apple trying to fool with this? And the prices they are asking for those phones. Do you get a car with the phones or what? I can't take them serious. My two years old note 2 is far far better than the iphone 6.
The z3 compact is a little beast. Come on sony, destroy the icrap.

The target of this phone is the Android users who wand a poket size powerhowse.
Comparing Apple with Google is like comparing electric cars to regular combustion engine cars.
