This is seriously the ugliest iPhone ever. If they made a 128gb iPhone 5s, I would have kept that one. This iPhone is bigger than my moto X and it has the same screen size. I am keeping the phone of course.

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2014That's simply false. All of it. No it's not false that's how they cover it up. They use transition animations which is stored in the ram while the app loads from the SD card, the longer the animations take the less stuttering as it give the SD card more time to cache the app.

Since Andorid has limited transitions are much much shorter this is where people cry lag as the app is buffering and the phone is waiting for it to load. Now you can increase the duration of the animations in android if you prefer and it will be butter smooth no matter the device.

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2014That's simply false. All of it. So you have an iOS device that accpets input while doing transition effects? Must be a fake then, theres plenty of complaints around the web about iOS feeling slow due to this. One remedy is to go to settings and check "reduce motion", it will feel much faster but it doesnt help for everything.

Dont bother looking for the reduce motion setting on your fake phone/ipad. It wasnt in iOS7 at launch but was added later because some users was complaining about motion sickness due to the motion.

I dont find that amusing, in fact i hate how all manufacturers make their boxes, phones are always on top, with no padding/protection above the display. In fact the phones arent even submerged a tiny bit below the top level of the box, and at less than 7mm thick what is to stop it from sliding out when opening the box?

All celllphone boxes nowadays are defective by design.

The only thing that can bother me with iOS during normal usage is the required waiting for animations/transitions, same as WP8 it is not ready to accept further touch input before the transition effect is 100% complete. They should speed them up a bit but Apple is afraid that people with iPhone 4s, iPad 2 and the non-retina iPad Mini will experience more lag, seems it is important for Apple to make a point of the fact that iPhone 4s feels just as fast as 5s during normal usage. The slowed down pace of iOS isnt nearly as bad as WP8 though, in WP we are talking painfully slow, every little thing requires the user to wait.
