Anonymous, 20 Sep 2014have fun with all 8 megapixelsif you know photography, you should know that 8MP is more than enough for you to print poster size photo. Even with cropping 8MP is enough. A 20MP Galaxy 5S is overkill.

In business world, a company needs different products for different regions and different tier of users. A flagship product will always sit at flagship level no matter how many variants of it on the markets. If their marketing department gives green light to a new niche model, and their production capability can support it, they will push ahead for the release. Remember offense is always better than defense.

indeed. it does't appeal to the consumers, if a company is releasing Flagship phones every two months. Was very excited when i got my S5. then a month later introduce a prime version of S5, then another month later introducing Galaxy Alpha. S5 will be my last Samsung phone Going back to iPhone. at least Apple makes you feel special for at least two years before you decided to get an upgrade.

Wow it's quite sad actually how Samsung is so distressed by the iPhone 6 launch. Have a bit of dignity Samsung.
Plus, 1 million in a developed country like Germany is actually bad, not good in my books. Wonder if people realise that.

They got those numbers by giving away free Galaxy tab 7 and smartwatches. And don't forget the price. The s5 costs like 400€ in Germany. Poor Samsung.
