Whats the use of putting such materials on the mobile phones when the every phone maker releases their new mobile models one in every quarter.

So anyway we are going to change the mobile for new one with better look, better configuration, ..., in year or so.......

Anonymous, 24 Sep 2014I'd prefer titanium. Its not the strongest metal, but titan... moreOppo put titanium on the Find 7, so it's not out of the question to see that put in place on the N3.

I'd prefer titanium. Its not the strongest metal, but titanium has one of the highest strength to weight ratio and is extremely strong....that way Oppo can keep the phone lightweight yet tough

ok boyz... here we GO! aluminum again. see I dont care what kind, whether its from mars or jupiter or from some nebula with a fancy name or used in some rocket. aluminum is just not tasteful in handsets, PERIOD. I mean look at the iphones 6+ its been dubbed the "ibend, iflex, ibanana etc" for tryin some alloy they could not mold properly. wonder if they even understood how to properly apply it. so oppo want to try some of the names given to apple iphone recently I see, well good luck to them. hhhm... aluminum in phones, what a joke!!!

ThunderCrackR, 24 Sep 2014Like the ”all-new” iPhone 6?NO, its not an iBanana, the iFlex only used normal aluminium.

Good to see some try from Oppo. They have some good hardware but very bad software. Find 7 - a flagship with poor battery life, some bugs and still on Android 4.3 JB?

                                will it bend?

I am a chemist. Yep, Al-Li alloys are used in some military and civilian aircrafts, not to mention rockets, satellites, etc, where each ounce counts. The flipside is that these alloys are very expensive.

Let's hope the phone isn't too expensive as, in the end of the day, cost is important, even more so in the overcrowded droid flagship arena.

The only problem is their crappy OS.

just as much aluminum-lithium in N3 as magnesium frame in OnePlus One - none. All hype before release like all Chinese phone. The actually will be aluminum + painted plastic.
