If you wait just a short while you will be able to buy the handset from EGlobal Digital for a much lower price! It will still have to come from their Hong Kong warehouse and will be subject to VAT and Duty but will start at a lower price to begin with! Delivery within a few days once they confirm stock is available!

Example:
California has a sales tax of 10% so a $1,000.00 product would cost you $1,100.00 after taxes.
Oregon has no sales tax so a $1,000.00 product would cost you $1,000.00 out the door.
Companies don't know which state you live in so they just give the retail price of the product. It's up to the consumer to add on their state tax or area tax to find out the total price. I don't think it's misleading at all...

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2014Since its plastic its okay to be overpricedthe plastic and metal is just less than 0.1% or even less of the price. If you want you can by 1000 kg of metal with its price. or buy a bending on first use(primium metal phone).
The difference here my friend is the innovation and functionality which is not provided by any other phone on the planet earth at the moment.

Both Carphone Warehouse and Three's phones are all sold unlocked in the UK.
O2's phones are locked but if you have a contract with them they'll unlock your phone for free.
EE and Vodafone sell locked handsets and charge a fee to unlock them.

Nice phone, unfortunately in the UK there are not many shops where you can buy unlocked phones, very limited supply for proper consumers and therefore prices are high.

The note edge is innovative, Wether or not it gets adopted mainstream we shall have to see, Apple hasn't even gone above 1 gig of ram in its devices yet!! I have had most manufacturers devices and yes iPhones were very good till the 4s and then they seem to have gone downhill especially in build quality!

The dual pricing (also applicable to tourists) shows the net price those not liable to VAT would pay
Private citizens who now source their phones from Clove are liable for VAT
Not misleading as if the VAT inclusive price were shown on its own would initially put those people off as the higher VAT inclusive price is 20% higher, so for those who do not check further may mean a list sale
So before everybody gets bent out of shape the iPhone6+ (I saw one for the 1st time @ CPW 2 days ago and it is enormous, it should be called the iPhone6 tab) costs

By Christmas the NOTE 4(NOT the iPhone6+) will be slightly cheaper

Amazing curved display and Super AMOLED technology. If you compare same icons such as YouTube, we chat ....etc on Apple and Samsung 's display you can find how vivid contrast and vibrant colours in super AMOLED while iphone's old lcd display looks dull and faded colours.
