I have owned 3 generations for Galaxy S phones and one Galaxy Tab and a Note Tab so decided to purchase two Note 4s to replace the previous generation Galaxy phones so I'm not an Apple Fanboy. The gap issue does exist and both my phones are proof of the issue. This is the worst build quality in terms fit and finish of all my Samsung products.
The rebate is a farce as well. For some reason their website will not accept my HEX/IMEI and/or WIFI MAC to complete the rebate and Samsung CS gives me the answer that its a known issues and they are working on fixing it. It should have been fixed before opening up the site.

S Gap...is the...most revolutionary thing we have done, since Note 3. It is...so...simple...so...profoundly natural to place a card in between the gap. Credit cards, birthday cards, playing cards...cards are an integral part of our lives. They define us, and excite us in ways never before seen.

If we think other cases people uses there phone in the ear if an oily skin person use, there is a possibility that the oil will come inside over time. This not only dust and water goes inside cases. It's just a guess might as well said it. I think they should have stick on polycarbonate the aluminum because they're are good on making plastic phone. Why metal now?

Guys calm down...its not a defect. Its Samsung's official answer to ApplePay. Instead of NFC, you swipe your credit card in the gap. It's called GapPay by Shtsung #gapgate

No extra software or registration needed -- just slip your credit cards in between the oversaturated screen and the cheap creaky plastic back, and you're done. Now your credit cards are in easy reach whenever you need to pay for something!

Its all the rivals... Looking for some kind a tiny mistake to ruin the products marketing.... A samsung guy bends an iphon and let the people know so they make it an issue ... So does an iphone guy pushing a card into the side border of samsung to get vengeance... Thats all about business guys go for what your heart takes you... I am a samsung lover no matter how ugly and how expensive or how cheap quality they make...
