Sony denies working on stock AOSP ROMs for Xperia devices

Although the company finds the idea interesting, it is not working on any stock AOSP Xperia ROM as of now.

    I honestly think this would be a great thing for Sony. Actually, for all parties involved. The only other OEM (not counting Nexus devices) who uses an AOSP or quasi-AOSP ROM is Motorola, which basically nobody buys. So by using AOSP or close to it, Sony would still be providing the software differentiation for their products which is the aim of the OEM skins to begin with. On top of that, it would have to be easier for Sony--they presumably don't have 200 programmers to work on their UX like I'm sure Google and Samsung do. Let Google do the work, and then just have your guys add in the necessary drivers and whatnot to make it work with your specific hardware, call it day, and deliver a superior experience to your customers at the same time.

        At least rounded edge ....
        And improve sound quality
        I like Sony but devices need more shape modifications
