Contract only as usual. As a person living in Japan, I'm always pissed off by how smartphones are always sold through carriers and must go with contract. I can't just go to a shop and buy an unlocked smartphone. Heck, I can't find the latest Sony phones in its home country (which are already sold in other Asian countries). iPhone 6 is an exception, which can be bought unlocked at stores. I wish the other major manufacturers would do this and end Japanese carriers' hegemony.

      Much wow. So Samesung.

Pre order prices are always higher then actual prices so its no shock really. And as it is a bit of a niche market device it is to be expected. Hopefully itnwill arrive in the uk so i can at least check it out before buying
