Bozzor, 14 Oct 2014Amazing number but really, this is a clear example of the l... moreApart from the initial delay in 6+ production, I feel that Apple handed supply quite well this year, it's just that demand is unprecedentedly high.

Not so sure about Galaxy Note 4, apparently the hyped 'sold-out' headlines in South Korea on launch day, was 30,000 units.

                http://www.androidheadlines.com/2014/09/30000-samsung-galaxy-note-4-units-sold-south-korea.html

To me, having only 30,000 units on launch day on your home turf, is a very worrying fact. Seems as if they were not confident of their device's chances no?

Malaysian, 14 Oct 2014Can someone let me know how does Apple decide which country... moreI'm sure that some of the factors are (in no particular order)

                  1. Countries that have official Apple Stores
                  2. Biggest markets (largest sales)
                  3. Important markets (China for example, is important for Apple's expansion plans)
                  4. Black market (I noticed that UAE launched iPhone 6 officially just one week after the first worldwide launch, and UAE was notorious for having loads of grey imports sell at ridiculus prices previously), similarly with China).

I think that somehow, they factor in all the above, and prioritise the countries launch list.

Malaysia is a good market, but perhaps not as big as the others, and also the buyers are more patient and don't overpay on grey imports.

Can someone let me know how does Apple decide which country to release first? I can see Singapore is getting it in the first release, Thailand is going to get it soon. But Malaysia, which is just next to them, is going to get it before end of year. There must be some factors in determining that.

If not shut up cause you dont benefit from this in any way. They should lower the price of that phone. Amazing number but really, this is a clear example of the limit of Apples production capacity. That number could be many millions higher simply if Apple could crank out the handset faster. That is plausible with the 5C and its plastic case, but Apple insists for the time consuming metal chassis for the 6 & Plus, so the numbers are tempered.

And Samsung? They will experience something similar with the Note 4, albeit not to the same level or likely as long...

Its a fake news.I just checked it, it's just an estimation of one website(and mined you its a cutoff picture from a website and not actual written news). On one site mentioned(which I always use for purchasing those are only the reservations and mined you its just reservations which is at most times alot stays that way with no actually purchasing here in China and alot of those reservations on that site are with contracts from the 3 telecoms here). That means the news is paid by Apple.LOL

Trying to create fake blogs that look like fan posts, but are really Samsung PR? No, Samsung again.

Don't worry, we know how Samsung's marketing works. The end of October is coming soon. Samsung will soon ship out much of their GS5 orders for the next quarter to retailers. This means they will count their channel stuffing as "sold" in order to create hype around a product that is still languishing on the shelves. Get ready for the big Galaxy S5 "sold" 20 million announcement at the end of October! The Samsung fanboys will eat it up without thinking.

But there are always some that despise its success. Tried all their means to prevent the King of phones to come in, using old arguments like "bending..", "expensive..", "dual core only..", "no ram".

But as it gets into the store, people get to experience it firsthand and realise that the degrading remarks are simply not true.

Those that despise the phone could only hung their heads in shame and disbelief.. and shout quietly in the comment section below.
