I bought note4 and am not impressed, period.
It lags. It is heating up. Multiple window feature lacks practicality. Instagram crashes frequently. Same as whatsapp and skype. S-pen 's ergonomics not good. It should have been little thicker.
Please let me know am i the only one facing issues?
Going to store to sort these things.

Note 4 vs Iphone 6+ :
Better Screen [ Not over saturated like before ]
Better Utility [ expandable storage,OTG- plug in usb/harddrive, Spen ]
4K Video/16MP [ a little bit future proof shows off on 1080p screens as well too ]
will also list up some feature that are small, but kind of win me over Iphone 6+, kind of android quirks
True Caller pops up on call in iOS it doesn't.
IR Blaster, cool feaure
Mutli Tasking is really good.
Google now, I really like what it does.
Nova Launcher.
Iphone 6+ vs Note 4
Better Camera on low light [ on day light, they are very similar ]
240 Fps Video 720p, dam nice.
OIS on the iphone6+ is mind blowing, Note 4 has it, but this is like 50% better in reducing shakiness in video.
That's pretty much it, in every other way Note 4 is better than the iphone 6+.
Pricing :
I think samsung has priced it right, 4 months before I used to hate samsung, and never even consider their product, with the note 4, its really premium, look at what they offer from iphone 6+, just that the camera is marginally better than note4, thats it, and why we are paying 52-55 ( which rest of the world is paying) is because we have higher taxes in india, the note is 850$ in US, around 52K in the US, 3200 AED (53k) in dubai( no tax country ).
Bottom line, I think samsung has really made a good phablet and I think its my choice, don't think we can argue much about the pricing, said that, it is expensive and it is worth waiting 3 months for a price cut, which is for sure.
PS:yes,Exynos is better this time by 20-30%,but it comes at a cost of battery draining, that's the reason the 805 is better option.The battery life difference is almost 40-50%,seen a lot of reviews online and people are almost complaining about exynoss note 4 battery life (4 hours of screen on time), note sure how much on 805 (but I hear very very good battery life, equal to Iphone 6+ to understand)

I got to verify the retail packaging and it is powered by Snapdragon 805 series processor.
Good that Samsung bought snapdragon to India.
Also the retail sellers known to me confirmed that sales of note4 are very very dull. Consumers are not even considering Note4 as an option for Iphone6 plus.
And remember Iphone6 plus costlier than Note4.

Samsung is going for another dip in sales if they don't reduce the note 4 device to 40K or nearer to that. If I need to buy this simple Android device for 58K, why would I buy this when I can buy 2/3 android devices at the same price for my family from other manufacturer. Samsung won Indian market due to their competing price and bet HTC and brands. Now it has gone too much extent and trying to kill its own market share in India.

more than 50K for a phone/tablet, no idea is it's need based product, If it is for bigger phone we can get good smart phone much more cheaper than this, if it's for computing we can get a light weight i5 4th gen laptop

Samsung is going Nokia way #self destructive way. It has not learned from the debacle of S5 i mean look at the pricing of Note 4. Are they out of their mind. I have never been pro apple but i must say that Apple does carry a status symbol value and has die hard fans who will buy it for any exorbitant price. What makes Samsung think that they can price note 4 so steeply and still win sales. If samsung's gotta sell Note 4 tehy ought to drop the prices very soon otherwise it will be disaster for them. Will stick to my Note 3. The actual price of NOTE 4 should be between 40 and 4k. ..

According to the keynote video, 1.07:44 to 1.07:55, note4 is coming with Snapdragon 805 series.
Now, we can confirm that only after seeing the retail package.

Is this really going to be snapdragon 805 or its just an advertisement. Till now samsung hasn't launched snapdragon in India. God knows why!

I'm surprised! Why Samsung isn't learning from its mistakes despite of so many failures.I strongly feel that Sam has to drop its Note 4 price to around 40-45K to create a benchmark sales.

Sammy lost it all when they priced Note 4 at 58,300=00 for Indian customers. It's insanely high price considering that Samsung is already losing it's foothold to Micromax in terms of total sales in India.
The correct price should have been @ 50,000=00 logically speaking.

Samsung has made my choice of upgrading from note 3 simple! Now I can wait for nexus 6 or some phone in 2015 with 64 bit SD810 processors.
Only thing is I feel disgusted that these companies take Indian customers for a ride, price their phones at least 20%more than international market, both apple and Samsung.
I don't mind the price if it's worth it, I mean the product is good and has at least 60% resale value after an year. But paying for these crap just doesn't make sense.

Nokia were making smartphones when smart & phones were two separate words
Nokia own a vast number if patents, through being the only smartphone makers, and whilst Apple -v- Samsung court cases are well known, Apple IOS is a Nokia licensed operating system
Apple were taken to court by Nokia as IOS breached patents own by Nokia. Apple pay Nokia royalties for every single device that runs IOS (which you can Google for more info)
Shortly after this Apple then sued Samsung.
You want the highest spec phone on the planet and complaint about the price as being too high?
The Note 4 is a premium product and is costly due to the many features it has
The iPhone6 is a overpriced phone which is NOT in the same league of any / all Samsung Galaxy Notes

The iPhone6 is a larger display iPhone5 as the comparison shows, if you think it is an alternative to the Note 4 it isn't

kannan, 14 Oct 2014Can you please explain "boltware" means what ??Boltware is software that usually comes with phones developed by manufacturer itself. This software cannot be removed. But it can be disabled. Still it uses part of your storage.
Samsung phones usually comes with loads of Boltware which no one uses including its fanboys. These apps are worse designed and uses more ram and battery.
And to an extent touchwiz hevier than sense ui.
I would live note 4 with stock Android and s-pen features. Will pay even 60k for that.
