If you wanna make a rant of why laptop/x86 tablets are better then do so in a separate post, dont involve me in your change of topic. Read again, in what way did my post deviate from the topic or say that tablets are PC replacements? In fact i always said that tablets would eventually go back down and PCs back up and thats exactly what happened lately in Europe and North America and other mature markets but now i am also off topic, lets just see ARM tablets for what they are and if you insist on bringing windows into the formula then stick to RT. If you didnt notice, GSMArena stays away from Win8.1 tablets altogether, its outside their scope and well into PC territory, they dont wanna go there and neither do i, but that doesnt mean i dont use PC or win8.1.

But maybe they will lower the price now as apple released this new device. For 299 i think the price would play from 14k to 17k

on our country the price of this are not the same, i dont understand why, $299 for peso is = P13455 and they sell it for P20000 >.

ok guys i really like this ipads as all the other apple products but sincerly i think the touch id and the gold color are not inovating stuff so i think going for the mini 2 would be the best option since its price is going down :D amazing tablet mini 2

It all depend on what you use it for.
iOS and android have home buttons which i found to be annoying. Full windows version does not have any buttons on the screen, everything is base on touch.
So it really depends on the user

Wow great news, Air is still the fastest tablet with best battery and at this price its a no-brainer, and only $50 more for 32GB!
And the Mini 2, wow so cheap, anyone who buys another compact tablet now need to have their heads checked.
I was hoping they keep the Air in the lineup but it is so good that i thought they would not, since it will steal sales from Air 2. We will buy one more Air, or Mini 2. 32GB of course. Already had Android tablet and rofl at the fans who think thats an alternative, we didnt even consider to keep it as a supplemental device when bought Air, noone wanted to use it even when it was our only tablet.

Why Apple keep harping on a retina display. anything over 300ppi is a retina display so that sums most mid range and top android tablets and phones.
