Fk this apple things its always the same when it comes to phones but for tappets the iPad was the best in the market but not for now Nexus 9 they killed it completely , nexus 9 now is the best quality on the market .
iPad mini 3 , iPad mini 2 iPad air , iPad air 2 its all the same shit

Actually iPad's screen is made with a special glass that is Scratch resistant and Dust resistant it is also Oil resistant unlike those Android tablets that it will collect dust especially in the edge corner, it is really disappointing to Android tablets.

I have been wanting a Mac for a while but never needed it. The continuity makes that and the new iPad mini more tempting but it's too much money to have everything. IPhone and Apple tv is enough. Galaxy note 8.0 and my plasma also does the Job.

For example, when i was still an Android fan a lady asked me which tablet to buy for her husband, whom i knew well. So asserting his needs i didnt want to advice but rather explain things, and at the end i told her that iPad will most likely be great for her husband. She said "but he just switched from iPhone 3GS to android and he like Android", but come on 3gs wasnt a great phone at the time, so i still said ipad. Then the store were sold out of iPads so she bought him an Android tablet anyway, a high end one even, and what happened? He didnt use it, exact same as what happened in our own home with Android tablet, it was just collecting dust, of course she was disappointed to have given him so bad gift. Then shortly after that their son was given an iPad 2, and we all know how low specced they are, and the guy was impressed how good it was, and wondered why he didnt get one also. So, thats the best high spec about Android tablets, their ability to collect dust. If you are not interested in sideloading pirated games any Android tablet will be a huge disappointment.

Why does people forget so easily, that all Tegra chipstes had good benchmark performance but always proved to be horrible laggy in real life? Their power saving makes even text input an impossible task, the whole chipset goes to sleep during normal use and you are left with an incredible weak 5th core to do your common tasks. I remember so well with HTC One X, how could a quadcore benchmark beast like that be beaten by the old Galaxy S2 in general performance? I know of people who wanted to buy One X and the store personnel refused to sell it to them, they would give demonstrations to show why all other phones, old dualcore Android phones included, were so much faster. I wasmindblown first time i tried a Tegra quadcore tablet, so slow! Nothing felt like it was responding, it was defective all the way. And thats why Nvidia has had a nightmare with tegra, so good on paper yet so useless in real life.

Or maybe you decide to save a little and go for the Mini 2 instead, but iPad you will surely buy no matter what, of course, its by far the best compact tablet. I do however think you should give it some consideration about the size, the Air and Air 2 arent huge and has some serious advantages for some usages, some people find the iPad Mini's to be just downscaled ipads so just have a second look at the fullsize ones before making up your mind. But at the end of the day you cant go wrong with a Mini 3, its the very premium compact tablet money can buy.

Sounds like a huge downgrade to Fandroids who havent used anything else right? Thats how blind one can be by reading only specs and disregarding the true user experience and satisfaction that Android still fails in.

OMG so horrible apps and so terrible UX in general, its shocking how much better even the iPad 2 is over the newest and highest specced Android tablets. Android has a lot of catching up to do but maybe you are one of those who been ripped off by Android tablets since the days of Honeycomb?
And dont say Apple users are being ripped off, an iPad 2 is worth more than the old galaxy Note 10.1 today, with Apple products you get your money back and that takes the financial edge out of upgrades. A girl i know was jumping of happiness when she managed to buy a used iPhone 4s 8GB for only $250, try getting that for your 2011 Android phone? I had two android phones in 2011 and now they arent worth more than $100 combined. Apple makes great sense financially, both iMacs, macbooks and iPhones and iPads, even the stupid iPods retain their value for some mysterious reason.

If you wannatalk about insignificant upgrades over the laast model then look at Galaxy Tab 3 over Tab 2, NOW we are talking nothing, and its quite mindblowing since Tab 2 was useless due to low RAM and weak processor and yet it didnt improve with Tab 3, but for Mini 2 we are talking about an already VERY capable device that didnt need more performance. The Mini 3 has the same performance as the original iPad Air and that is already the highest out there for still a few more days.
I could make a rant about performance also, i was actually disappointed that our iPad Air didnt work faster in the general UI than the iPad Mini 1, which has the hardware of iPad 2. With iOS 7 they are both the same since iOS is made to tick alongin its own speed, iPad Air and Mini 2 actually feel like disappointing when you know their hardware is capable of so much more but Apple is so obsessed with keeping the user experience the same even for the old devices that they chose to let Air and Mni 2 be limited by the capabilities of iPad 2/Mini 1. Its annoying as F when i want to start typing something fast on the Air and then the time it takes for iOS to bring up the keyboard is so slowed down that the two first characters i typed are not registered so i have to start over. Sometimes you find yourself waiting for iOS to catch up, the keyboard is sliding up from the bottom too slowly and its not the only thing but just one example. It helps to tick the "Reduce Motion" option in settings but it doesnt speed up across the line, like the keyboard, the Reduce Motion option was just implemented by Apple to avoid lawsuits from epileptic people who claimed they got seasick and POSSIBLE could have seizures from the UI motion in iOS 7 and i bet its gone from iOS 8 anyway. Well, its ok when you get used to it but i would prefer occasional lag over that slowness, since iOS remains totally unresponsive to input while its doing animations and transitions (Not nearly as bad as WP though, WP is painfully slow and extremely annoying, in iOS its more a minor annoyance).

Still the best tablets on the market. Also apps on tablets are way superior on iPads than on Android.

How come Apple doesn't list the DRAM since it's crucial to fixing iOS 8 and Safari lag and tab reload? No upgrade until it gets 2GB DRAM or more.
