Huawei launches two MediaPad T3 devices
An 8” Huawei MediaPad T3 appeared on TENAA two months ago and now the time for an official release has come. Huawei launched the device in two variants on its website - the already leaked 8” version with Snapdragon 425 along with an even more affordablе and even less powerful 7” variant with Mediatek MT8127 with 1.3GHz quad-core CPU.
The bigger brother of the duo is the Huawei MediaPad T3 8.0. Along with a more powerful chipset, it has two RAM+storage combos - 2 GB + 16 GB or 3 GB + 32 GB. The 8” IPS display comes with with 1280x800 pixel resolution, and the OS is Android 7.0, coupled with Huawei’s latest EMUI 5.1. There is a 5 MP camera on the back and 2 MP one on the front. The whole package is powered by a 4,800 mAh battery.
The device has two variants - the KOB-L09 that supports LTE and Wi-Fi and the KOB-W09 that connects to the internet only over Wi-Fi.
The MediaPad T3 7 chipset still has quad-core CPU, but this time on a Mediatek MT8127 chipset. The RAM is either 1 GB or 2 GB and comes with, 8 GB or 16 GB internal storage, respectively. The smaller display has fewer pixels on the screen as well - the resolution is 1024x600 pixels. It runs on Android Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1, and the battery is 3,100 mAh.
The MediaPad T3 8.0 should cost €219 (€239 with LTE), while the 7" device will be only €129.
