OnePlus 5 and 5T's latest OxygenOS Open Beta bring Google Lens support

Ro, 17 July 2018

While the last OxygenOS Open Beta update for the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T was a significant upgrade bringing support for Project Treble, the latest versions for both devices offer smaller changes.

The OxygenOS Open Beta 14 for the OnePlus 5 and the Open Beta 12 for the OnePlus 5T are focusing entirely to the camera app. They add support for Google Lens and improve overall image quality - the changelog says that it reduces the "oil painting effect". This means that you can expect sharper images.

If you are already running the Open Beta on your device, you should get the 253MB OTA update pretty soon if you haven't already. But if you want to migrate from the stable ROM to the beta OxygenOS, you will find the instructions in the source link below.
