Ivan, 15 October 2018

During its big event Adobe announced two very important apps for mobile users - its new cross-platform Adobe Premiere Rush CC and Photoshop CC for the iPad.

Starting with the latter, Adobe Photoshop CC for the iPad brings full PSD support, layers support, the major Photoshop tools like various Brushes, Gradient, Marquee, Lasso, Adobe Sensei-powered Content-aware and cloud sync.

That last one is a big deal as you'll be able to edit a PSD file on your laptop or PC and then continue on the iPad.

Adobe Photoshop CC for the iPad will feature Apple Pencil support but is also made with natural touch gestures in mind.

Photoshop CC for iPad is coming in 2019 and Adobe has said that it's working on an Android version for future release. You can sign up to get Photoshop CC on the iPad here.

Moving on to Adobe Premiere Rush CC, it's Adobe's vision of a mobile-friendly, content-creator focused video editing software.

Adobe Premiere Rush CC combines Premiere Pro and After Effects and offers clip, color and audio editing, motion graphics and quick publishing to major social networks like YouTube and Instagram.

Premiere Rush CC supports cloud sync so you can work on the same project on an iPhone or an iPad and continue on a Mac. Adobe is working on Android support for the future.

Adobe Premier Rush CC will cost $9.99/month for individuals, $19.99/month for teams and $29.99/month for enterprise customers and will be included as part of Creative Cloud All Apps, Premiere Pro CC single app, the Student plan and comes with 100GB of cloud storage.

Who's betting Adobe is being paid to NOT port the full Illustrator to iOS and Android? I do. Apple still needs to sell overpriced MacBooks and iMacs. Microsoft still needs to sell PCs and Laptops for W10 Licences.

google and apple tried years to convince everyone to dump their PC/laptop and switch to touch only devices. Then 5 years later, they produce tablets with Keyboards ?? Sounds like some b.s. going on here.
